Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser and its MMC sister company Guy Carpenter, the premier risk and reinsurance specialist, today announced that Marsh's aviation reinsurance team will join Guy Carpenter. The process is expected to be completed by the end of 2008.

Nick Frankland, CEO of Guy Carpenter in the UK said: “This change is indeed a positive development for our clients. The aviation team will have full access to Guy Carpenter's technical and analytical suite and be able to offer a more complete range of reinsurance solutions.”

When the process is completed, 29 Marsh colleagues will transfer to Guy Carpenter.

Marsh’s aviation reinsurance team recently won the Best Reinsurance Broker For Aviation category at Reactions magazine’s recent 2008 London Market Awards.
