Marsh appoints Nigel Salisbury to grow its UK Real Estate Practice

Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, has announced the appointment of Nigel Salisbury as Head of its Real Estate Practice in the UK. Mr Salisbury will be based in London and report to George Davies, Head of UK Risk Management and matrix to Jeff Alpaugh, Global Real Estate Practice Leader.

Mr Salisbury is a senior insurance company executive with over 20 years’ experience in a range of professional and financial risks markets. He was most recently Director of Property Investors at RSA, responsible for establishing and developing the UK-wide segment for both residential and commercial property markets. Under his leadership, five new regional trading units were created, specialist teams recruited and significant growth achieved.

Other senior positions at RSA held by Mr Salisbury included Director of its UK Professional and Financial Risks business and European General Manager of its Global Risks Division.
